AGRICULTURE AND NATURAL RESOURCES MANAGEMENT (AG/NRM) TRAINER
Peace Corps is recruiting a Technical Trainer for the training of new trainees in Agriculture/Natural Resources Management from June 16th, 2008 to September 19th 2008
Qualifications and experience required:
In addition to being a qualified trainer, the person will be responsible for supporting the sector’s program activities, helping with development issues, following up and training volunteers on program monitoring and evaluation, giving feedback, and supporting trainees.
The candidate must also demonstrate a proven experience in AG/NRM in the following areas:
Production and commercialization of non-timber forest products
Gardening and marketing of garden produce
Development of profitable tree nurseries
Preparation and implementation of Farmers Field Schools
An excellent knowledge of French and English (oral and written) is required.
All the sessions will be conducted in English. Good commuter skills are an asset The
